Nov 02, 2024 - Joanna presents at the Wellness & Epilepsy Conference
Joanna was honored to be an invited speaker at the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan's 2024 Wellness & Epilepsy Conference. Joanna and Dr. Julie Ziobro (pediatric epileptologist) co-presented a talk entitled "Decoding the Genetic Puzzle and its Role in Epilepsy Care". It was a great experience to interact with and support this wonderful foundation as well as the many patients with epilepsy and their family members in attendance.
Nov 01, 2024 - New pre-print on bioRxiv!We are very excited to share Limei's paper, now available on bioRxiv:

Limei performed a detailed characterization of medial septum cholinergic and parvalbumin (PV)-expressing inhibitory interneurons in wild-type versus Dravet Syndrome model mice, and identified significant differences in the PV cells. Congratulations and thank you to Limei and to co-authors Yiannos, Joe, and Juan for their work on this project.
