We are very excited to welcome Chandni Rana as a graduate student in the Mattis lab! Chandni graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and gained additional experience as a lab technician at NYU. She is a student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program (NGP) at the University of Michigan.

We are thrilled to welcome Krystal M. Santiago-Colón as the lab's first official graduate student! Krystal graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Campus with a B.S. in Biology in 2022. She is a student in the Program in Biomedical Sciences (PIBS) and the Department of Pharmacology. Krystal will be jointly mentored by Dr. Lori Isom, Chair of the Department of Pharmacology.
2023-02-28 17:00:24 - Setting up an automated fluorescent microscope + stereology system!
Today our new automated Nikon fluorescent microscope was installed! We'll be using this alongside a MBF Biosciences software for stereology. So excited to start taking pictures on this microscope!
