Anam, Chandni, and Joanna attended the 2024 American Epilepsy Society conference in Los Angeles. Chandni presented her work recording from SNr and PPN neurons in Scn1a+/- mice during seizures. Anam presented her work (a project led by Meiling) recording from noradrenergic neurons in the LC, and measuring norepinephrine release in the hippocampus, during seizures. Both posters were well attended and received very positive and helpful feedback. It was also a worthwhile experience in which we made and strengthened connections with colleagues throughout the research and clinical epilepsy communities.
